Water Softening Plants

The presence of certain metal ions like calcium and magnesium principally as bicarbonates, chlorides, and sulfates in water causes a variety of problems. Hard water leads to the buildup of limescale, which can foul plumbing, and promote galvanic corrosion. In industrial scale water softening plants, the effluent flow from the re-generation process can precipitate scale that can interfere with sewage systems.

In contrast, in hard-water areas, the rinse water contains calcium or magnesium ions that form insoluble salts, effectively removing the residual soap from the skin but potentially leaving a coating of insoluble stearates on tub and shower surfaces, commonly called soap scum. . Our softening plants help you to get rid of such water borne impurities.

Ultra Filtration

Ultrafiltration (UF) is a variety of membrane filtration in which forces like pressure or concentration gradients lead to a separation through a semipermeable membrane. Suspended solids and solutes of high molecular weight are retained in the so-called retentate, while water and low molecular weight solutes pass through the membrane in the permeate. This separation process is used in industry and research for purifying and concentrating macromolecular solutions.

Ultrafiltration is not fundamentally different from microfiltration. Both of these based on particle capture. It is fundamentally different from membrane gas separation, which separate based on different amounts of absorption and different rates of diffusion. Ultrafiltration membranes are defined by the molecular weight of the membrane used. Ultrafiltration is applied in cross-flow or dead-end mode.

Reverse Osmosis Plants

Reverse osmosis systems are one of the most widely accepted means of treating any source of seawater or brackish water. A complete portfolio of designs and capacities are available to meet the clients’ individual specification in context to the product requirements in Pakistan. Designs are either standard built or tailored to the client’s precise applications.

In the normal osmosis process, the solvent naturally moves from low solute concentration to an area of high solute concentration. The driving force for the movement of the solvent is the reduction in the free energy of the system when the difference in solvent concentration on either side of a membrane is reduced, generating osmotic pressure due to the solvent moving into the more concentrated solution.

Chemical Dosing System

Real Chem offers complete solutions for chemical dosing systems. Different chemicals are required for water disinfection & inline water treatment, dosing systems serves this purpose. Packaged and customized units are designed to suit different applications and requirements. Chlorinators are designed for manual or semiautomatic sodium hypochlorite injection and regulation. Easy to install, for indoor or outdoor installation, each chlorinator is factory tested and needs no field adjustment prior to start-up.

Five different capacities provide versatility in flow requirements. Chlorinators mount directly on the valve of a tank utilizing a lead gasketed positive yoke clamp. Diaphragm ejectors are standard with a choice of diffuser outlets. As an option, a variety of different ejectors are available to meet your needs.

Mechanical Works

Real Chem has expert people for different mechanical works before and during installation of filtration plants. This may include on site SS piping, fixing of PVC fittings and building of MS infrastructure.
